How would you descibe beauty?

I have always enjoyed looking at pretty people; it's the man that makes you look twice, or the woman that makes you put down the brownie even if it is only a bite! We all know the people who scream from the four corners of the earth professing how pretty they are; when really they are only trying to convince themselves, and sadly they are missing the true essence of beauty.
Beauty is in sparking eyes and in heart felt laughter; it flows from the tears of a new Mommy and Daddy welcoming their first child into the world. It is in the heart of the brave, the soul of the survivor, and the determination of the strong.
Being beautiful is intimately knowing your imperfections inside and out, but more importantly knowing and capitalizing on your strengths. When you focus on your strengths you will find with time and patience your imperfections don't seem so imperfect anymore. You begin to see them as just a part of the natural you which is as perfect as you were ever intended to be, and with that I hope you have a clear understanding of what it means to be beautiful to me!

Daddy,

I love you so much, more than you could ever imagine. You make me so proud to be your daughter. Mom would be so proud of us you know. I can't wait to hand you my finished book and sign it too! I love you always and forever, with butterfly and ladybug kisses!
